Yo, VDO - where can I get those mirrors, how well do they reduce the annoynig wind sound, will I have to paint them, how much did they cost and how hard to install? I gotta get 'em if they reduce wind noise...

Yah VDO, where did you get those mirrors from? I might jock you and pick up a set cuz my passenger side is busted. I think i'd only get it if it is power operated though. does it fit perfect? what car is it made for???

damn, i was thinking about picking up a set b4 i got m ycar painted but then i was like F*ck it cuz of all the money i was spending. but now since one is busted, i think i might get it if it's powered. but i'd be jocking you....

I saw M3 mirrors at the performance shop - because they fit the generic ricer cars (LOL, j/k probably fits an Integra or Civic). I kept telling Gilbert that they'd fit a TL and he kept telling me they wouldn't! Told him to go check out acura-tl.com Its all you VDO! So what kind of M3 mirrors are they?

Many performance shops carry these mirrors. Call around. I got them from a groupbuy a while back for $140 shipped. They are made by RacerDesign for the 98+ Accords, and are powered. Yes, they do reduce that annoying wind noise and yes you will have to paint them unless your car is white. They were fairly simple to install, however, it involves removing the door panels because of the wiring harness. They have a bluish tint to them that perfectly matches the auto-dimming rearview mirror at night.

1999TL, why you jockin' me man.(j/k ) Actually, I was at Hocus Pocus just a couple weeks ago and they have the exact same pair as mine (98+ Accord) inside the display. Just so you know.

The mirrors don't fit like OEM, but very close, and unnoticeable to the untrained eye. See for yourself:

I dunno If I'd be able to deal without the HUGE side rearview's I get with stock. Man, you don't miss em until you drive another car. We get such good rear visibility with ours.

I guess with my convex mirror's it'd be allright.
