audio steering controls

audio steering controls
My audio steering controls doesnt work anymore, but cruise control works perfect, do you think there is a problem with copper ring or with unit control itself?

Test the radio controls with the steering wheel turned 90 degrees to either side.
If they work then, copper ring needs dimples.

I`m getting some response, but not great

You have to take the steering wheel off and but a few dents in the copper ring.
