You will walk all over him... (if its a base 2.8)

I think he means 2.8 .

If its a quattro it will give you a good run.

maybe he is trying to fool u by lying the engine size. And depends opn if you are racing straight rold or curvy, straight I'd say take him; curvy, may want to think twice if your level of street racin' is not matured. I feel the A4 is more nimble than ours.

actually quattros are heavier, so you might have good chance, but if it's front track, it might take you.

My friend has a chipped 2.6 and he beat my bone stock TL-P, but we did a rolling race instead of off the line. It was a while ago and pretty close, but the fact of the matter is that he beat me, but if you race off the line, you should be able to beat him, and definetly if he's stock. good luck

My friend has a chipped A4 1.8T with a low flow exhaust and he beat me by a car length off the line.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The Quattro traction gives a better launch from dead stop.

AWD gives the best launch , follwed by RWD and then FWD

but the downside with the quattro is that its so heavy. the car is heavier than our cars. if its a manual and front track, then itll be close... if auto, then u should take him

thats assuming no mods

but the downside with the quattro is that its so heavy
heavy and there is more powr loss to the wheels.

As far as the race goes, I bet on the TLP. With the Audi being a manual, there is more chance of error too.
