Post Attn: TLs w/ Aftermarket Springs

Does anybody have any regrets about putting aftermarket springs on their TL? What kind do you have? It seems pretty unanimous that Comptechs are the way to go. Sometimes I feel like the ride is too rough already. Most of the time I feel like car rolls and dives way too much. I realize this topic has probably been beaten to death already.

I have Comptech springs on my car and i love them. Yeah the ride is a little stiffer but not by much. If i have any regrets it would be not getting them sooner!

I have the Comptech Springs and Comptech front and rear sway bars. These additions will eliminate the body roll you feel when taking turns.
I would do this modification over and over again. I have never once regreted these additions. Another huge plus is it gets rid of the large wheel gap and makes the car much sleeker.

I don't have the springs but I do have the Apexi Coilovers. My TL is dropped 3". The handling has improved 100%. Now I can take turns and corners without worrying about tipping over.
BTW, the ride wasn't as stiff as I thought it would be. It was pretty close to stock.
Whatever you get, it will definitely be better than the stock set-up.

I agree that the stock ride itself is on the stiff side, and yet you still get excessive rolls and dives. Comptech springs and sways do not make the ride much stiffer, but virtually eliminate rolls and dives. Any increase in stiffness is small, and overwhelmingly outweighed by the improved handling.

best mod i did. drastically reduced body roll, front end dive. much more aggressive stance. i think this car was meant to be lowered.

I got the Comptech and let me tell you, if you woke up one morning and someone replaced your stock springs without you knowing (yeah, right), you would never know except for the decrease in wheel gap.
