I went through CarsDirect.com. You have the price BEFORE you even walk in. I ended up buying from Cerritos Acura. They had the car I wanted. Overall, the buying experience was ok. I have been through a lot worse

2004 TL Comes out by April or March, You better wait.. Its only couple months away.. it will have a lot more features and more HP and it will be redesigned.. You have money for the whole car so Why get a old design when the resale value will go down.. Your better wait or you will seriously Regret it.. Why not buy a cheap car for now and than sell it later and put it down for the downpayment on the new TL.. Trust me You will regret it if you get a Brand New TL And a newer one comes out.. But Thats just what my opinion is.. I am just waiting.. Or atleast wait till Jan. When the car debuts so you know what will be coming out and if its anything big and check out the model..

Heheh I should feel bad for paying msrp for my car but aleast I had my car longer than all of you hehe. I bought it when it came out for 35900 OTD with complete kit and spoiler. O yeah since it's a new model for the 2004 you probably can't get a good deal until like 3 to 4 month aftward for the type S don't know about the regulars but usally the type S hold it's price for serveral months.

If you were in central cal I'd recommend a place that would give you a very decent offer, but since you're in socal I'd suggest maybe trying Norm Reeves, I think that's the dealership that someone people had gotten sweet deals on.

I got the following email from Downey Acura back in Sept. May still be good. Prices seem fair.
"Dear Acura TL Seeker:
Thank you for your interest in the Acura 3.2 TL. The market for Acura vehicles has always been of limited availability and, often times, short supply; nevertheless, Downey Acura offers very aggressive internet/fleet prices to attract "out of the area buyers" and, more important, to simplify and better the car buying experience by assuring customers of low prices.
The following are the Internet Prices for the 2003 Acura TL:
3.2 TL Premium: INTERNET PRICE $27,412.00
3.2 TL Navigation: INTERNET PRICE $29,469.00
3.2 TL Type S: INTERNET PRICE $29,351.00
3.2 TL Type S Navigation: INTERNET PRICE $31,309.00
*All above offers include dealer installed factory mud guards and wheel locks standard equipment at most Acura dealerships. All above offers expire within 48 hours of this email...TO RECEIVE AN EVEN LOWER PRICE, PRINT THIS EMAIL AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO DOWNEY ACURA!!!!!!
Please feel free to contact one of our sales managers Brian Lin or Michael Ton for any further questions or to schedule an appointment to visit us.
Regards,
