Attn: No Headlights

Yes, they were stolen in broad day light. Between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm.
When I first saw my car, I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong. Then I realized my headlights were gone, so I dropped my water bottle in shock (Like a little girl), and was putting my hand where my head lights used to be to make sure I wasn't just seeing things.
I flipped out for a good few minutes and then just called the police.
They ripped my bumper off from the sides and pryed them out. In the end, I needed a new bumper, both new fenders, and the HID system. My hood is still a little bent on the driver side, but it's not noticealbe until you really examine it.
I'm getting an alarm installed next Friday.
It wasn't like I was in a bad neighbor hook either.

If we catch these a$$ licking d1ckhead in the act, we should greet them with a baseball bat or a club. Acura should have designed this light with anti-theft system. If anyone tamper with it, it will release a high voltage shock those mother pu$$y licker I feel your pain too. Sorry dude.

Malls, movie theatres, along Route 3, and along Route 46 have all been places mentioned in previous posts about stolen headlights. Mine were almost stolen at South of the Border on 46 when the car was two days old. I wouldn't leave a TL or CL anywhere in a public place in Northern NJ. In fact I don't - I take the MDX, especially when it's dark. My TL-S is five months old and has 1,200 miles on it.

I dont get it, why dont people report this when they see it happening. If it was at comp usa, I am assumming there were people in the parking lot. If I saw someone rip off a bumper, I would report their a$$es to the police.

well, this is what i do
I always park far away, i usually wont park if there is a chance cars will park next to me... this keeps the car out in the open... It only takes like 30 seconds to get a bumper cover off if that... So at least in the open, they have no chance of not being seen.
The second thing I do is I always park with the front of the car out. Never into a space. If you park in they can park in the way so people cant see, and if you did have people park next to you, that is a place they can hide... packing face out means they have to be in the damn lane to get your stuff... In SC this wasnt a problem, now that I am in DC again, I am getting a alarm

Could it be that shops have hoods out in the streets stealing lights just so they can re-install them in someone elses TL that had their lights stolen?
Wasn't that what was going on with the airbags?

Sorry tohear about your incident!
Damn thieves just can't stay away from our nice HID! We should wire them up so the thief will get an electrical shock once they touch the HID headlights. That might stop them!

Sorry to hear this brother.....
My father's Accord was almost stolen few years back from the Caldor parking lot. It's now Kohl on 46 west in NJ. They broke the key in the ignition and therefore, couldn't drive the car.

It's better to deter them from even touching the car in the first place..

For the 02, it'll fit an 02. In case u guys didn't know

The reason I didn't get a 2002 front end is because, my car isn't a 2002, so insurance wouldn't go for it. And then I would have no use for the Mugen grille, which is the most expensive piece of plastic I have ever bought. And then I would have to get a new skirt.
And I don't even like the 2002 front, unless it has the skirt.
But ummm....my ride was supposed to pick me up like 30 minutes ago, they still aren't here yet.
