hey Boba, what kinda foglights are you using right now?? are those Piaa 1700??? and i was wondering how you installed your foglights in to that black area of the bumper...please be specific...im thinking about installing my fogs which i am considering on getting...the 1700 series...thx!

give me details on...how you custom fabricated the bracket that you needed to put your fogs in that area, and what material did you use to make the bracket...

 

Sup. I know I aint Bobatimez... but I got mine done at the same place he did his. (He recommended the shop.)

Anyways, first of all, yes, those are 1700x.

There is no bracket to it. You just got to cut off a little tiny bit of metal piece that's right behind the fake fog holes. It's actually the most front-end of the frame of the car. but don't worry, cutting it won't compromise the integrity of the frame as a whole. Like I said, it's just a tiny puny part of it you got to saw off. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself tho.

SilvrTL i got alot of questions for you...

1)Did you get the honda accord wiring harness to hook up your Inspire foglight switch? and if not, how did you connect the individual wires to the 5 prongs that are on the back of the Inspire switch...

2)Polarg M-12 front turn signals...what color are they, and if they are the super whites, can you send me a link to the site and the page that has those bulbs...

3)Lastly, Approximately how many fingers are left with the H&R springs, and about how many inches was the drop...BTW did you get the 1.25" front and 1.00" back, drop springs, I know there are three types of H&R's that fit our TL, which one of the three that are listed on this site, how is the ride? bouncy, OEM-ish, firm...any input is greatly appreciated!!

You can find answers to most of your questions by simply searching this board. but here it is:

1) No. I don't have the harness. You can directly hook (solder) the wires to the switch. Someone posted the install instruction somewhere but I can't find the actual thread. But here it is. (It's in quotation marks cuz it's someone else's. But I had the shop do it this way and it works. I would give credit to the person that wrote it... but I can't find the orignal thread.)

"Looking from the switch on the side view, with the illumination on top (the way the switch goes in the slot), the top and bottom prongs go with black PIAA wire. The second from the top wire goes to white PIAA wire. The middle and the second from the bottom go to my red PIAA wire."

2) M-12... the bulbs themselves are blue. But they lite up superwhite. I don't have a website link to them. You can see the picture that Tann@808 took here. It's a long thread...but scroll down to the middle of it and you should find the pix.

3)I have the H&R OEM springs. This is the set that lowers the least among the list. I think it owered my ride approx 1" all the way around. Funny thing is it lowers more on the rear than the front. It looks nice... but I think I could've gone a bit lower. The ride's firm but comfortable. But trust me, you would feel every possible flaw on the road there is. (I have my 18" rims to thank for that too.)
