Attention Mobil 1 Users

I was at Pep Boys yesterday and picked up a couple of quarts of Mobil 0w-20 and the clerk said there was a special on Mobil 1.

If you buy the Pep Boys calendar for a $1, it's buy 3 qrts and get 3 free! They were out of calendars, so I said no problem, just charge me for one and gemme the deal.

That's about $2.67 a qrt . . . a great price!

The nearest Pep Boys to me is like 40 minutes away in some two-bit town east of here. I've been there once to pick up some stuff which they didn't even have. But I got to see an '88 Fiero GT with an LT1 swap and a host of other mods, so it was worth the trip. The guy was real cool, and did a burn-out for me on the way out on drag slicks.

Anyway... this sounds like a great deal. Even better than CostCo, which is like 3.80 or so per quart. I just might make a trip out there one of these days. Thanks for the heads-up.

Well... went to Pep Boys during lunch time today and the lady at the cashier told me the calender has been sold out and they cannot give me any discount on the oil. NO LUCK.
