Anyone who did their own ATF changed, is the size of the washers for the drain plug bigger than the washer for oil pan drain plug? Also, is there a washer for the filler plug for ATF? Thanks a bunch.

 

You can buy new washers from the dealer. It is of a "crush" kind to seal...but I just reuse mind...even with the oil drain one..and it'll work. No leak.

 

I bought them already and had one of them installed because the mechanic said there's only one and he used the 18mm (bigger) one. I am wondering if he's telling me the truth.

 

theres also one for the filler hole but its not really needed.

Simplist way is when you change your oil, take the old one off and compare...cuz nobody here knows...and who really pay attention to details such as that to answer your question. Certainly, nobody will run out there pull it out just to check...got the drift?
