Sorry...just had to vent...my car in the body shop is killing me...I still have no ETA as to when it's gonna be done....the adjuster is lagging big time and is starting to piss me off...

 

complain to your insurance company if he's taking too long.....maybe you can get him fired....j/k:p

 

yup, definitely complain to them. they can't keep your car forever and at least they have to give you a brief ETA.

That sucks man. Here in Yonkers there is a White TL type S sitting in one of the most repected body shops around here. This body shop gets cars from lexus, bmw, benz and other dealers. But yet this TL has been sitting there, along with an S4, for the last 4 months. Just sitting. Both have wrecked passenger sides, likle they got t-boned or side swiped.

 

I got rear ended... the idiot was merging on to the freeway...and was too busy looking back and to his blind spot...and he failed to realize that the person he was trying to merge behind (me) was completely stopped....and Bam! All I could say was WTF?! but he hit us so hard my friend's baseball cap went flying off his head...

We got out to look at the damage...and initially it didn't look too bad....seemed like bumper damage but his license plate mounting screws had punctured a hole into my bumper ...well as I went up to his car to ask him for his information...he flinched as though he thought I was going to hit him hahaha...and before I could get any of his info...the CHP came and separated us...( I guess the officer thought I was gonna do something too )

Unfortunately the next morning I could see the gap on the right side of the trunk lid wasn't uniform w/ the gap on the left side...and the trunk wasn't sitting level....so who knows what's wrong underneath Luckily there's no creases or kinks in the outer body so that's a good sign....

Sorry for the long post...I'm still venting hahaha..maybe I shoulda just kicked his ass....but then again the highway patrol was right there...
