Apex'i VTEC Controller??

Does anyone have one of these in there TL-S. If so, was it worth the money? And would this affect the dealer warranty??

It lets you adjust the fuel to air ratios, and enables you to lower or raise the the rpm point set for the VTEC to engage. I'm almost positive the VTEC kicks in about 4600 rpms. I could be wrong though.......I can the Apex'i for about $350.00

I think somebody installed one around here, but if I recall they didn't know how to set it.

Hmm, the VTEC point was chosen at the RPM where the non-VTEC cam profile and the VTEC profile produce the same power output. Moving the VTEC point around will probably cause your engine to either jump or lug when the VTEC hits.

Of course, if the point of the exercise is to find the equal-power point, then it's a different story.
