DO NOT install it yourself!!!! It looks nice, and it pretty much overrides your ecu. Not worth the gains IMO because I had to get a new ecu to make up for my dumbass mistake of installing it myself.

Well after professional installation. You have to get it dyno-tuned and once that is finished your Vtec engagment point will be lowered and you will feel a good amount of a difference. If you have more modifications (headers etc.) it will be more effective.

TUNABOY...did i not tell you to get it prof installed, i even offered a connection to an apexi store in ft. laudy

how much did the reparation cost you? Oh, there's a wire harness online that costs $150...thisone is da way to DIY...NXTNEXT used it...i think

African: get Vafc after you have a minimun 3/4 of i/h/p/e otherwise you wont feel the gains, other than a waste of gas. Do a search, there's like 25of these.

Basically it allows you to retune your air/fuel ration, move vtec to an optimal performance point (unlike factory = optimal gas mileaga/power). Get it prof installed ~ $100 then get it either dynotuned or wideband tuned ~ $50/hr (1.5hr worth of tuning average)

SEARCH!!!!

wrong...and wrong.

its II for a reason...and S-AFC is not a V-AFC...sure they got something in common but the V-AFC does what the S-AFC does plus it mods your vtec...moral: dont buy S-AFC for a TL.

i dont know where you found those prices, check again

They're the same price man. Nothing's cheaper. You're thinking of the SAFC and the V-AFC II.
