If i mounted the v-afc to the rear view mirror, is there any way I could make the wiring go thru the top of the car instead of reach all the way down to the center dash?

 

If you can fit it right above the rear view mirror, you can probablly run it across the roof liner or conseal it on the edges and run it down the pillar.

the wire is really that long?

 

The wires that comes with it may not be that long, but you should be able to add an extention to make it reach. I say just make sure the connection is secure and the guage wire is sufficent. Wire gauge may not be a big factor but always good to be safe.

I'm gonna install mines in the eye-glasses holder, so when I push up on it, it'll slowly come down!!! I'll post some pics later when I have time to put it in.

Alpine EQ, 3" widescreen TV(LOL) , take the whole thing out and install a center channel speaker, ohhh, ohhh sunglasses LOL J/K!

 

yeah, that's a cool idea, i was thinking about that too but i noticed that the eyeglass holder has a part that would block the view a bit if i put it in there. Maybe it could be cut off? I'm looking forward to seeing your pics!
