hey, im thinking of getting one but i had a q. we all know the pros of the thing but what are the negs? i did a search, couldnt find exactly what i wanted to know.

the one thing i have heard is that since the vtec is lower, it makes your engine work harder and in the long run your engine may go bad. (something along those lines)

 

If you are looking for any gains I dont thik you will find very much. The VAFC works best with the DOCH motors. A few people out here have tried them out and were not very impressed. You can lean out the car a little more but since you are NA I dont really see the point of any sort of engine management other than the stock setup.
