Definately one difference is Size. The N1's are a lot slimmer, whereas the WS has some huge canisters. I heard that the WS are fairly quiet almost "stock like"

Werid, I dont see N1's anywhere in your original post. How did Ball know you were referring to the difference between N1's and WS?? must be psychic or I dont see what you guys are seeing.

odd...

Apex'i is the company and WS is a model that they carry. If you go to this site it will tell you the difference on each exhaust and product
http://www.apexi-usa.com/products.asp

hope this helps.

Thumbs up

apexi WS is a stock-looking exhaust system with a muffler and mid-pipe. apexi N1 is a tube-style (very popular these days) exhaust system also with muffler and mid-pipe.

the WS is pretty quiet. it's not loud at all imo. low deep rumble.

the N1 is really loud, and if the piping is too large for a car it will sound nasty. however, the N1 is the most efficient exhaust system for japanese cars. it was designed from the N1 endurance races in japan, where cars cannot modify anything other than exhaust, suspension, wheels/tires, aerodynamics, and other miscellaneous things. everything else remains stock.

N1 is a good choice, but i don't think many people can take the sound. no matter what car it is for, it's all going to be really loud. if anyone wants these, they are available in universal form (muffler only). won't be as loud.

the WS is imo too stock looking. i thought comptech was stock looking.

vision, what mounts are you talking about? doesn't ground control make suspension components? talking about upper mounts? what do they have to do with the WS? i don't get it..

Guys, he's talking about the coilovers, not the exhaust. The N1 has upper mounts which can be adjusted, which then adjust the ride. WS don't have upper mounts so they are height adjustable only. And they only make WS for our cars. You should try a company called NEX, they have a full coilovers for the accord v6 which is the same as TLs. I think they run about $1000.

yeah i was talking about the upper mounts.. cause i know the apexi ws doesn't have upper mounts and was just curious if you could buy other upper mounts from other company's and have them applied to the apexi ws coilover. does having upper mounts matter alot? what's the difference of having and not having the upper mounts on the coilovers?
