I saw the story on the news last night 2002 black TL (I don't think it was a type s but the film was pretty quick and it was late and the car was a pretzel)

A Sharon man was killed early yesterday morning in a single-car crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike, state police said.
The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 about 2:20 a.m. near the Allston-Brighton tolls.
State police Sgt. Scott Range said Joshua Odette, 24, died after his 2002 Acura struck a guard rail in the median strip.
Odette was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
``He was the sole occupant of the vehicle,'' Range said.
It remained unclear last night what caused Odette to lose control of the vehicle.
``The cause (of the crash) is still under investigation,'' Range said.
In addition to his mother, Myra, Joshua Odette leaves a sister, Rachel, 21.
His family could not be reached for comment last night.

that is a sad story, even though i'm 3,000 miles away i feel for his family. must of really been a horrific accident with all our safety features. i've always hated those gaurd rails so close to the shoulders. ya'll be carfull out there!!

But if it was the tranny failure than Acura better watch out for a major lawsuit heading their way (that's if the family even know about it)!:wow:
But then again, it was 2:20 in the morning so he could have fallen asleep behind the wheel. There are just too many possibilities.
