Anyone Tried to Paint Their Bumpers ?
Hi All :
I've got some pretty nasty paint damage (the black plastic is exposed) on all four corners of my car. I think the plastic will have some resulting scratching, but the bumpers are not cracked or broken.
Has anyone sanded the plastic smooth and applied matching paint that didn't look too amateurish ? I'm sure a professional bodyman would have some tricks to share......
Thanks to all that reply.

I had mine done via the local acura dealer and they turned out mint. Had them fill the front bumpers licence plate holder holes ( my plate holder is flipped upside down). They just took the paint code from vehicle door.
Doing it yourself is way beyond my knowledge level - clear coating? baking time? etc. Id be surprized if it turned out well - you got guts.

Take it to a pro.
You can get it done faster, and shouldn't cost that much.
Just had my wife's 2002 camry done. resprayed front bumper, rear bumper, and fixed rear pass. 1/4 panel
All was blended very well, and had it back in 4 days
