With car dealers looking to move cars, I am thinking about trading my 01 TL w/ nav for a TLS and I was wondering if any of you did this.

If so, how much extra did it cost you and what was your out of pocket expense?

I traded my 01 CL-S for the TL-S ...cost me $1575 CDN...

 

What are you, crazy? I would never trade in an '01 TL on a TLS.

I traded in an '00 TL on a TLS.

 

Only cause you knew the guy who worked at the dealership right?

 

Traded my 00 TL in on a 02 TL-S. It costs me an extra $5200, but it is well worth it.

 

I was just wondering what it cost some of you who made the trade and I figured now is a great time with the state of car dealers. However, I think that I am going to hold out for a 6 speed CLS.

I did after just 5 months with the 01 TL and it cost me about $2500.

But I did have a real strong push going from the get go. He promised me that there wasn't going to be more than a few changes such as memory seats and indash CD. Well when the news of the TLS leaked out I was all over the dealer on a regular basis. When the first ones showed up I was there confronting him.

I would do it too, but I just got a new car from my parents...They would think I was fuking insane to ask for another new one...I cant lie though, im happy with what I have...When I try to show them the new TLS, they say it looks just like the old one with clear headlights...I tell them its faster, they say look at your driving record and tell me if you need something faster...Shyne
