Post anyone take out plastic from HID

I was wondering if anyone has ever taken out the plastic cover on the HID. I dont know how to describe.. but if youve done it, im sure you know what im talking about. Please tell me if there are any regrets. I think it looks kinda nice w/out it.

It was done before...taking out the diffuser. I think it was VDo with a white TL. He regretted doing it cuz he couldnt see shit at at night. Said it was dangerously dark while driving. In other words, dont do it.

TLon19s has taken out his diffuser. Its not really a diffuser though, its more of a focusing lens. Your lights will be very bringht but will not shine the correct pattern and will blind everyone, as well as provide you with less visibility.

Major REGRETAGE man. Don't do it. It does make the lights look a little cooler, but the light output was dangerously messed up. I had to painfully redo my lights to put the defusers back in. Not even funny.

Here's the difference:

Hey VDo,
You're like the spokeperson for not taking out the diffuser. How do you feel?

I did take it out too. Had to put it back. Don't do it. You would get 3 brighter spots on the road and the rest is dim out. It does look sweet. I drove it like that for a whole night. My friend drove in front of me and said that it didn't bother him. It just looks funny on the road I which I had a picture. Sorry.

How about covering your lights with the light tint film...

I think it was meant to spread out the light to cover as much of the road as possible. leave it in there and becareful to seal it up nicely so fog can't get in!
