Anyone with strut, sway bars?

I am thinking about getting some new suspension parts, but I'm kinda new to all this and I have a few questions so I'd like to get some opinions. I'm a little hesitant about dropping my car since the winters here get pretty bad, and some of the coilovers I've seen are pretty expensive. So I was wondering, how would getting only a new strut bar and sway bars change the ride, would they make a big difference? Which brands would people recommend? ALso, what are anti-roll bars, are they different from sway bars? thanks

Hey, where do you live??

I have replace the OEM sways with CompTech's and I also have added the Neuspeed upper strut bar. I did the sways first and I noticed the improvement right away. The following week I added the upper strut bar and the handling is awesome!!!! I think all three bars work great together, definitely worth it!!

Oh i see, thanks for the reply, I will definitely get the parts soon! I'm from around Chicago, and the winters around here get pretty snowy, lots of salt, so I'm worried that it would damage the car.

damage? Nope.. it should be fine. Now the paint is what you should be worried about. Just keep it clean in the winter..

I have only installed Neuspeed's front upper n lower strut tie bars and with 225/5516 sized tires I already am enjoying stronger and quicker turns on the car. Yes, the smile on my face can tell anyone a lot.

I learned to deal with the occasional driveway scrapes, but the Sways/Springs make the difference.. I'll probably get the Neuspeed strut tower brace too, as I drove a car myself and saw a BIG difference..
