I've been hear about recalls for windows and setbelts, but I haven't recieved any of them. I got my car the second week it was released and would expect I would be the first ones to be notified. Does it mean that my car is not effected by either recalls? Anyone else not recieved the recalls?

I haven't received any notices yet either. I will be taken mine in soon for oil change and 7500 miles service so I thought I'd check into it then.

 

I did not receive any notices either. I bought my car through an auto broker and, according to my dealership, supposedly, the recall notices are forwarded to the broker and then to me.

If you contac you dealership directly, they should be able to tell you if the recals affect you (the window controller affects all TLS, the seatbelt does not).

I haven't gotten mine either and I got mine the first few days after it came out. I also got mine at a non-Acura dealer and they said I would hear from Acura and to not worry.

I just got my TL-S on June 1. I haven't gotten any notices, and the dealer didn't say anything. My VIN is in the low 16000s.

Could somebody point me to info about the window recall? What exactly is wrong?

Hopefully, they got both of them fixed before mine came off the line.

I didn't get any notices. When I went to the dealer, I asked them if my car fall under any recalls, and it did, so they fixed it for me.

None for me.. picked mine up last month on the 17th.. However Im going back for some work tomorrow (tinted windows), Ill be sure to inquire..

 

I picked up mine in April and have received BOTH recalls. My window recall came a couple of weeks ago and that has been taken care of at the dealer. The seat belt recall notice arrived in the mail today. Hopefully this will be it for awhile.

 

Got the window recall about 3 weeks ago, and already had it taken care of. havent gotten anything about the seatbelts. My VIn is in the 1800's. Picked her up in March

 

When I received my window recall, I called the Service department and they also reserved 2 Parchment buckles in case I needed them.
When I brought the car in, the inspection indicated that the buckles needed to be replaced (this was prior to my receiving the seat belt recall notice from Acura).
My delivery date was 4/18/01.

 

I had my TLS since April 28. I just got my seatbelt recall notice yesterday. I haven't recieved the window recall notice yet though...I'm not too anxious to get it either.
