I believe the cars themselves are assembled in Marysville, OH while the engines are assembled at the engine plant in Anna, OH.

11th digit # on your VIN is PLANT that tells you where the car was assembled. TL has A there which is Marysville.

A - Marysville
C - Syama
S - Suzuka
T - Tochigi

Thanks again. I can't look up a VIN because I don't have the car yet.

I was supposed to get it this week but the dealer said that the factory cancelled the production of my car and delivered another one in a different color. They won't give me another expected due date. I wanted to know where to look up a phone number so that I could call the factory and verify the dealers story.

They couldn't help me. They gave the number of corporate sales out in LA. Playing phone tag with them now.

That sounds like a crock of $hit, they probably sold yours to someone else.
I had a dealer do that to me once, they said it would take 6-8 weeks to order my car so I did, after nine weeks they could not find it. I waited while then realized it had been 12 weeks in total so I went and found the exact car I had ordered at another dealer. Guess what, on the 13th week they called me and said my car was in, too late.

Just got off the phone with American Honda corporate, they are looking into the situation. Will have an answer from them in a couple of days. They are going to check the production orders and cross check them with the delivery schedules to the dealer I am working with.
