Try a heat gun or hairdryer

IF its a 2002 or same, i just replaced mine lastnight. pop the lens off the map lights, remove the 4 screws holding the light/sunglass holder assy in place, remove it.
disconnect any connectors. pull the plastic trim off the mirror over the place it mounts to the window. take a screwdriver and put it on the top of the black mount and bang on it with your hand, not too hard. The goal is to pop the mirror assy off the silver clip that is glued to the glass, in a downward motion.

good luck

BTW, i got my replacement mirror for free directly from the manufacture, magna donnelly corp. It took a couple weeks but it was free warranty replacement from them, Car was out of warranty with acura

Senven, thanks for the instructions. I just got my replacement mirror for my 2000 TLP from Magna Donnelly last night and I was able to install the mirror myself. Their customer service was excellent in responding to my problem. The only thing I suggest adding to your directions is to wrap some tape or cloth around the end of the screwdriver to avoid damaging the windshield.

Yes, it is a pain to remove. I wish there was a regular old set-screw under the plastic.

I would consider getting a replacement from magna donnelly anyway. I did not have to send back my defective one and you paid for a replacement so the original should have been covered. It is very possible that your first replacement will fail down the road.
