hey guys i found a 99 tl for 10k, but it has about 115k miles on it. they owner says he has an extended warranty that covers the car up to 150k by warrantydirect.com, which includes the tranny. just wondering if anyone has heard of them and if this is any good since its not an acura warranty. i know i should find a car with less miles, but i really like the tl, am on a very tight budget now, and need a car asap to get to school. other than the high mles, the car is fine and he says he hasn't had a problem with or had to swap out the tranny, so i guess this is a "normal" tranny. i still want to run the vin though to be safe. so what do you guys think, should i go for it? also, would anyone with a carfax account be willing to help me out with running the vin? :p thanks for your help guys.

 

Don't know anything about warrantydirect.com but just make sure it is not from warrantygold.com. They just filed for bankruptcy and are not honoring warranties purchased before 06/06/03.
