Anyone know any Acura specialists in Queens?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get the 90k mile service done (timing belt, water pump, plugs, etc) and am trying to find a place that isn't going to rip me off, and knows what they're doing.

Anyone know of a place that has reasonable prices and can tune my baby up nicely?

Thanks,
Roshan

Thanks, what are the names of their shops? I'd like to call and find out how much it's going to cost.

Thanks again.

hmm whatever you do just dont head down to Paragon Acura. Those A holes will definitely rip you off. I think I might have to have those stuff changed soon also.

Yup, I hate that place. The service there is horrible and they're a rip off.

I've heard Isle Acura is pretty good but then again I dont know if it is worth the money to go to a dealer to do maintenance.

Take it from a person who bought his 02 TL-S at Paragon Acura. It is definitely NOT the place you want to be going for maintenance, or anything or that matter. They are very good at running your pockets dry and then bragging about how wonderful of a dealership they work at because they give you a free car wash every time you bring the car in.

I agree, Paragon Acura is the worst place you can go to with your car. Although I got my 99TL there and it is running fine, I hate the place to death! Hidden BS fees, rude/bad people, etc... I had to call the DMV special unit to get on their case to help me with my registration.

That must really be a bad dealer to brag about that I mean dont all Acura dealers do that or at least the majority of them?

The sales/service reps at Paragon all think they're the sh1t and come across as very cocky. Furthermore, they still try to use the classic car salesman lines from the 60's which is lame...

Park Ave is a lot better. Way more professional.

Yeah, definitely come to the shop in Fort Lee. Jae has been working on Acura's for God knows how long, and himself owns a tl-p with type s motor and 6 speed cl-s tranny swap, with c/t supercharger. He does quality work for Very affordable prices. Stand-up guy, has been taking care of my cl-s and bro's tl-s ever since, as well as many of the tri state cars.

Phone number at the shop is 201-944-4445. Ask for Jae. Tell him Anand / Andy said whattt up

Agreed on all the comments posted about Paragon. I hear Valley Stream is great but I'm wondering about Rallye since they are closer to me. Anyone with experience there?

Valley Stream was pretty ok on the service but I only bought a key from them since I dropped mine in the city gutters. Dont know about mechanical service but from what I've read I heard Isle Acura is the place to go in Long Island. Not sure about Raylle, I was going to try them in the beginning but opted for crappy Paragon the dealership that will empty your pockets and make all your money all gone.
