Thats an awfully small turbo! For a single Id go with a nice T04. Stock internals should be fine to 6-8psi, dont know why he's only gunna make a 4-6psi system.

Engines that come turbo charged are design to handle the characteristics of forced-induction. When you start boosting, the compression in the engine has to be lowered V 6 TT typically don't spool pass 8psi. And because the boost won't be that high, using a TDO3 would result in a faster spooling turbo.

It won't matter how quickly the turbo spools if it's a bottle neck in the induction system. The TD-03 doesn't flow enough volume to support a 3.2 engine at 7,000 rpm. That combo is more dangerous than tons of compression with tons of boost.

I suggest the Garrett T04 turbo. The following compressors would work well:

S3: 4-6 psi
V1: 6-8 psi
H3: 8-10 psi

Run these compressors at the psi rating that I've listed and you'll experience minimal lag and the top end will make you swallow your own tongue

Exactly! The single T04 shouldnt take too long to spool on the TL engine.

bro... why would you turbo charge your TL. if you wanted turbo you should all have gotten a sports car not luxury . and besides if you were to turbo your car might as well say good bye to your tranny because you will destroy it.

If/when I go w/FI I'll take it to a transmission shop and have the tranny hardened.
