Anyone had these problems?

(1) My factory radio subwoofer stoped working. It's not blown either. There is no signal going to the rear speaker. It's annoying because the rest of the speakers are HORRIBLE!!!

(2) My rear pass door lock works sometimes... It's annoying when you can't lock the door without opening the door and pushing the door lock down.

(3) Engine knocks when the AC turns on. It's a weird knocking noise not pinging.

(4) Steering wheel moves in sections especially when acceleration. That is, it's not one smooth rotation. Could it be the tires? I have 66k on factory tires but there is still good tread left on them.

Thanks
Rosh

Bring it to the dealer. Warranty should cover.

I have 65k on my car now so I'm done with the warranty. This is going to cost a bundle.

the steering could be the power steering pump. I had that too.

1.) That's Bose for ya. They try to squeeze every frequency available out of a mass market $2.50 driver. This isn't an opinion but total truth.

2.) It depends on how this car is wired. If it has four independant relays (one for each door) or if just one relay that throws all the locks. I'm leaning with the first one. Could be a loose connection. You may want to find the computer for the doors and make sure everything is tight or take off the door panel and make sure it's plugged in/tight there too.

3.) Sounds like either the bearing is dry/bad in the compressor or something else is loose on the engine like a mounting bracket.

4.) This car has torque sensitive steering. The more torque the engine is putting out (i.e.- with acceleration) the less power it gives the power steering pump so it's less easy to lose control at higher speeds. May be a regulator in there that's gone South.
