Hey I know how you all want your car to look unique. You don't want to be driving around looking the same as other TL-S do you? Well be the first to modify you TL-S by putting a 2001 tail lights. I'm willing to part with my 2001 tail lights for your "inspire" tail lights.

Actually I seem to remember someone saying that they sent a set of yellow tails to someone in Japan that had an Inspire.

Hahaha.... Nice try.... Me, I like the 2002's a little more, but I wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks more for them.... I can't see pulling perfectly good ones off and then letting them collect dust just so a piece of plastic 2 inches by 4 inches is clear. If it was possible to go to the dealer and give them my old in exchange for new ones then pay a few bucks I'd be cool, otherwise forget it. I guess I'm a little stingy with my money, and besides, the stocks look pretty sweet IMHO.

Why do they call the base TL TL-P? Yes they come with the clear tailights too. But then again so does the 2001 Honda Accord.

The reason I said I would trade my lights with a 2002 is not because I want it badly, just that it would benefit both to be a little different. But since a lot of pre 2002 people getting inspire and the 2002 coming out with clear, I think it might be more unique to just keep the amber lights. To me it's not too big of a deal, but I'm not going to spend hundreds doing it. Get what I mean?

I hear ya. But I think the cleared out lights still look better than amber even if it's not original anymore. Does anybody know if the yellow signal bulbs in the 02's will fit in our 01's?

 

It's not a fake wannabe type S until you put the emblem on your trunk.
