just wondering if any of you guys ever used octane booster.
one of my friends used it and said he notices a difference
has anyone ever used it on your tl's?
if yes, notice a difference?

Are you talking about the 104+ stuff ? I never used it. I've heard both sides from yay to no way. If any additive, I use Cheveron Techron.
I use to use Cam2 100 octane from time to time with my old '82 280zx turbo (a few mods). That was a noticeable difference. But that was like 10 years ago. I don't know if anyone's tried that with the TLs.

I use Techron at every oil change and use Octane boost (yeah, the 104 stuff) every other fill up...I can't really say I feel any difference, but the car does seem to act a bit better...

i just added a bottle of outlaw by penzoil. I had a weird clicking noise when accelerating that has considerably quietened down i am not sure if it helps in gas consumption though atleast not yet.

I normally fill up with Chevron's 91 octane gas, when I add outlaw booster, the car seems a little quicker.

Octane boost does absolutely nothing. Chevron is good, although filling up with a tank of the highest octane gas pretty much does the same.

WTF? How can you say that blanketly when you follow it by saying you get better reselts with premium?
It's the same principle...All it is doing is increasing the octane level of the gas you use from a concentrate--whatever that may be, which can be nothing but beneficial over what you had...I'd agree with you if you used Union 76 104 octane gas and then used a bottle of 104 octane...
It may not be noticable, but there is a difference...

ya and keep in mind that in some states the highest grade is 91 at most gas stations so i imagine if i get it to at least the 93 that some of you are burnin ive gotta see some diff.

as far as gas consumption is concerned maybe you are right but like i said i had a clicking noise that i could easily hear while accelerating after using outlaw the noise is pretty much dead quiet and i can finally enjoy the clear tones of my exhaust so regardless what anyone says i will advocate the use of it that thing really works its been a few days so far and i have no complaints at all. Also i am also feeling some added power but maybe thats just psychological.
