Anyone done a Mugen spoiler install?
Finally got it paint matched and ready for install. I was thinking of doing it myself, but with the fact that it's stick on, I started having second thoughts. Three people so far told me to be careful 'cuz once it's on (crooked or straight) it's on for good. Since there's no margin for error, should I just take it to Park Avenue or some other pro's to do it? Anyone had it done 'professionally'?

Well, I didn't do the Mugen spoiler, I went the M5 route... but that too uses adhesive tape. Let me tell you...once that sucker catches... it's stuck, make it 4 people who have told you that
IF you're going to do it... have a friend or two help you out. If you want a dealer like PAA to do it... I'm sure they won't charge too much.

I installed the mugen 3pc lip spoiler myself.
I installed the 2 side pieces first. ( I didn't drill the screw into the body since the pieces were small and I felt that the 2way tape will hold the pieces. Then I dry fitted the middle piece ( without removing the 2way tape and made small guideline markings where the spoiler will fit. Then I removed the backing to the 2way tape and carefully layed the spoiler into place. Then I installed the metal brackets that holds the spoiler to the trunk.
I think that if you dry fit the side pieces then the middle piece is not too hard to line up.
Hope that this info helps.

Made an appointment and went to PAA. Turns out that the were somewhat spooked by the spoiler install too and said I should bring it back in two weeks when they have some free time and plan on leaving it for several hours. I guess since I mentioned these boards, they want to make sure it's 100% perfect so I don't slam them here. But I'm glad they were honest about their hesitation and didn't plunge into something they weren't sure about.
Now it's 5 people including the folks over at PAA that have scared me into waiting another two weeks to have it 'professionally' installed. Come on, I figure if even the PAA guys are a little hesitant, then I pretty much stand zero chance of doing it right myself. I HATE WAITING!
Ugh...

The install is not that hard at all. I did it with a friends help. We layed all the pieces on the car (without removing the tape). Did the side pieces first and then closed the trunk and did the center piece. I personally left off the Mugen badge, as it made too much going on in the back of the car. May be different if you debadge the rear end.

PAA recommeded Mazzola's Autobody in Passaic, NJ since they do all their body work. Painting ain't cheap, but it was factory identical. I figure if they're job is good enough for PAA, then it's going to be fine for me. I don't have the final quote for the install from PAA yet, but I figure it's going to be more than your average 'bolt-on' spoiler.
Mugen Spoiler from KingMotor - $360
Factory perfect paint job from Mazzola's - $200
Install by PAA ~ $100 (estimated)
Not f*cking it all up - Priceless
