While out and about in my NSX this morning, I noticed a new, blue 2002 TL Type S parked in a Vons Supermarket parking lot. The car was beautiful! If the owner is a member of this board, my wife and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity of a closer look. We are in the market for a sedan; just as I grew tired of dealing with Porsche service departments (my NSXs have been jewels), I wish no further contact with either Mercedes or BMW dealerships.
"NSXs" ???
As in more than one??

Good for you. I hope to win the lottery one day and be that blessed...

Yes, MCD, I have been most fortunate to indulge my car fantasies. Since 1985, I have driven the following: Ferrari (328,348), Porsche 911 Turbos (88,91,94), Viper RT/10, ZR-1, NSXs (Coupe and Targa).
Understand that it took 14 years (and many, many sleepless nights) from college freshman to Chief Resident (and 100K in loans) before I entered practice and began earning more than 14K/year.
BTW, given the avarice, hypocrisy and mendacity overwhelming medicine today, I retired after 20 years of practice. I decided to buy myself a sports car as a gift; one that would satisfy me for many years to come. Based on both my prior experience (which included much track time) and thorough test drives, I purchased an NSXT. In truth, the only sports cars I would trade for my NSX (providing someone else pays the exorbitant maintenance fees) are the 360 Modena and 911 TT.
