Ran the crap out of mine.....it's a little over 49,500 miles. Less than 500 miles before the warranty is over. Only had the car for almost 2 1/2 years. Still on the first tranny. Anyone else have high mileage so I can make myself feel better?

I am getting close to 50K myself. On my second tranny, but we all know that it is covered to 100k. Other than that, the car has been good to me.

Doubt if I'll waste any money on buying the extended warranty. I'll just take it to a certified honda mechanic after it runs out.

You sure did rack up the miles, I`ve got 14,000, o3 TLs ! One year and a month old! No problems with the tranny yet(Knock on wood).

same situation...47something miles, 2.5 years, 1st tranny which the dealer says is still running ok. i have changed the tranny fluid every 15K so far.

44,400 miles and I had my car since Feb. 2002. So yeah I've been doing a lot of driving but I take care of my baby..hahahha Just a side note, What do you guys think of 18's on H&R sports? I've been looking at pics but I wanted to look at more. Any more links? and yes I've already done the searching. Well ok then...I'm out

WELL IM AT 66,000 AND IM ON THE FIRST TRANNY (KNOCK ON WOOD) DOES THE BASIC FACTORY WARRITEE COVER THE TRANNY TOO 100,000?

first one at 79k before the tranny warranty extension(covered under warranty by dealer) 2nd one at 115k covered under warranty by acura the 3rd tranny seems to be doing good

So they did cover you after 100K - that is a relief to me being that I am on my second tranny with 87K

Just traded an '02 with 143k (and third tranny) for an '07. Second tranmission was at 48k due to the recall; third was a mistake a year later - service guy misdiagnosed a wheel bearing noise! Ironically, that's when they gave me a 3rdGen TL as a loaner, and I wanted it ever since.
