Yes, I had problems with metallic tint. Navi still worked but in some areas it would loose strength and show me driving off the road into the ocean. Sometimes it would just reset when it was calculating a rout. Since I got rid of the metallic tint I haven't had any problems. Where is O.C anyways? Talking about Oceanside?

Xlent Tint, I think its near yorba linda or Orange area. I forgot. Theyre really good though. Did awesome job on the dots on the back window too.

i've got my tint in Rosemead, Cali, , called the Tint Shop, they did a good job, especially they tinted the dotts on the rear with not problem, i paid $100 for three windows in the black and the front visor.

Perfect thread! I'm in the market for doing this too, and have a few tinting questions.

What are the laws about tinting the front sides? I read 30%? Is that right?

If I tint, does it ruin my vision at night?

Does the "film" ever come off or bubble? Or are those "do-it-yourself" jobs I always see with bubbles?

How much $$$ would a full tint job run me?
