Any problems with No, VA dealers?

I have a question for those of you in the Northern Virginia area.
I just leased a 2003 TL. Have any of you had any problems with Pohanka Acura? Because I do.

Thanks

I bought my TL there and have had OK service from them. What seems to be the problem?? Radley Acura has been more of a pain in @ss than Pohanka, at least that has been my experience.

I don't know about their service yet cause I only have 1300 miles on it but here's the problem I have with the dealership. (short version)

When we worked the deal, I had a 2000 Honda that was near lease end and was over my mi limit. The salesman looked at and drove my car came back and said, "we can help you out" since you're leased with Honda finance because that's who'll be the lessor for the TL. (I figured they had a special turn in arrangement) He said he would find out the pay off and left the table. When he can back he said he could turn it in for me and pay the remaining 3 payments along with the mileage overage. He filled out a check request and said, " this will more than cover the remaining payments and additional mileage." (it's in writing)
I asked if he was sure and he said, "you'll even have a few extra dollars left over.

Well it's been 5 weeks and Honda has taken another payment from my checking account and the Accord is still at the dealership and in my name. But to make matters worse after 12-15 calls and or emails to the dealership and to Honda finance (with only a few return calls) I found out that the figure the salesman came up with and assured me would satisfy the Honda lease is $1770 short. After talking to the GM and the salesman in person yesterday, and they both agreed that it salesman made a math mistake but since "they didn't make any money on the car, they certainly couldn't give me any money back". Whether it was intentional or not, I was misled and entered the new lease contract based on that lie.

Sorry to ramble, but I'm so pissed I could explode. This experience with Pohanka Acura is the absolute worst.

We purchased our TL-S and our MDX at Pohanka. Straight purchases, no leases, no trade-ins, no problems. My TL-S was delivered on time in about 2 weeks. We actually got our MDX recently before it was expected...

My service experiences have been good so far...

Two Things I would do if I were you:

1. Have you tried to contact the Acura customer's relations department? Perhaps you are able to get the regional manager to help you although they usually are not involved with $$ issues.

2. Speak to a lawyer. I would take them to court for $1700! I almost did when my last vehicle was failed consistently when I first leased it.

Btw, mind sharing the final figure of your lease? How much did you have to pay for the driveoff and your monthly payment? If you do, I know someone personally that works at my local Acura dealership, and perhaps I can have him put in the numbers and see if they really sold the car to you at cost. (Since they say that they didn't make any $$ on your deal).

Got it, give me a bit of a time. I won't see him tonight, but I will give him the #s once I see him

Have you tried to do anything other than contacting the dealership only?

I know of a few people that had problems with Pohanka, but it has been a couple of years and i can't recall what they were. How ever i know they drive the new cars like bats out of hell thru the parking lots. Radley tried to shave my rotors, knowing full well they needed to replace them! Plus they charge up the *ss for any type of service, ie. 30,000 mile service $360.00 plus tax. They do wash your car after they service it, and they done great work when ever i bring my car in, which is rare!

As far as your ordeal, i have no clue about leasing vehicles. I never have and nor will i.
