I'm thinking of getting tints but would love to see what it would look like before I do it. Does anyone have pics of the naples gold acura with tints?

Tints: 35% on front windows / 25% in the rear

sorry i don't have better pics. but you get a pretty good idea of what it would look like. tinting my windows was one of the best things i did to my car. i'm very pleased with it. just make sure the people do the whole back window, make sure the people that do it aren't lazy and just cut out around the brake light.

Thanks for the pics, they look sooooooooo nice! What are the colors of the tints you are using? I was thinking bronze may look nice to match the color of the car but it looks as if anything looks good. Thanks.

personally i'd go with black tint, which is the normal tint that most people get. Mine is 35% silouette tint, which basically looks like the other two TL's in naples gold with tint.... having tint the same color of your car might look funny, and may be aggravating to drive in. i know a legend with yellow tint and it was horrible riding in that thing...

 

Just an update:

I went Saturday just to check out which tints might look good with the car (bronze or smoke aka regular). They actually put the films side by side (2 windows) and I really liked the bronze. I took into consideration that it might look funny but actually looking at it, it looks good. I went with 20% bronze. It snowed up here (about 20 inches), so as soon as I can get the car washed, I'll post some pics.

 

I remembered your words! They wanted to cut out the brake light and I wasn't havin' it! I saw a few cars like that and it just wasn't for me. They tried to tell me, if a cop sees it covered they'll pull you over. I tested out the brake light with it covered and it was still very bright so I knew that was b/s. Seriously, thank you for giving me the heads up b/c if it wasn't for you, they probably would have cut it out without telling me.

that and if you're planning on having front tints and they're illegal - or if you other illegal toys - you're more likely gonna attract unwanted attention from our favorite boys in blue.
