any other TL-S owners have this?
I'm really getting annoyed by this bar that's sticking out. It's located at the bottom seam of the back, around my belt line. When I sit in the passenger seat, I don't feel it. When I test-drove the demonstration model at the dealership I didn't feel it. I was wondering if anyone else has been having this problem.

well, nothing's been done w/ my car, but I'll update the situation on my car....
1) The fog lights didn't light up when I turned the headlights on - I think it was just a freak thing....hasn't happened again
2) The sub doesn't put out anything....and I don't mean the bass is low, there is literally nothing coming out of it - one of the mechanics did something so it's putting out bass but not as much as it should, but I'm gonna change the entire system at some point, so no biggie
3) There's this bar in the seat that's sticking out and digging into my lower back - this thing is pissing me off, service guy claims to not feel it, but I do (maybe I'm crazy)
4) There's something loose near the driver's area - disappeared
5) The right rear window rattles...just like my other TL - gone (for now)
6) The rear view mirror has some kind of mark on it....it looks like there's a scratch but it's not on the surface - forgot to mention it
7) The leather on the back of the two seats by the headrests doesn't look like it was pulled tight before it was stitched together - dealer and service guy claim this to be normal

to summarize my last message, I only have one major proble: bar in seat that digs into my back, and two minor problems: weird mark on rearview mirror surface; and (loose?) leather on back of driver and passenger seats. Do you think I can get the dealer to replace the mirror or should I just ignore it?

Well it depends....I'm very picky about my car and I think a scratch on my review mirror would bother me. If it's a faint scratch, then I would leave it alone.

Are you talking about the lumbar support? It's in the lower part of the driver's seat. You can adjust how much it sticks out with the lever on the right side of the seat.

CarFreak, it's not a scratch, it's like there's a small deformation on the mirror....it's not on the surface because I can't feel it. And the right rear rattle is back
I took it out for a drive to try out the bar and I think it might have been the way I was sitting because my mom drove it and she said she didn't feel it. BTW, SybariticOne, it's not the lumbar....the lumbar is higher up.

I have felt what you describe fahoumh. Is your car still fairly new? I felt it for the first month or two, and it slowly faded away. I think it was where the perforated leather and regular leather are stichtched together there is a "tough spot". It must have just softened up due to use, and I dont notice it anymore. But I do know what you are talking about so you arent crazy
