Question Any one Have BMW 745 Side Markers???
I just bought a pair and my body shop wanted to know if anyone had a template to cut the holes, or if you could make one.

not yet.. but I am ordering them myself. Not sure when they'll get installed though.. so unfortunately I can't be much help on the installation.

hey guys where did you get your side markers from (what site)?

i want a pair too but having a hard time locating them. thanks in advance....

Unlike the side markers on other BMWs and the new A-Spec TL, the lens are yellow, the 745s are clear, and they will definately look good on my silver TL-S

kman156 has them on his TL as well. Search for his screen name and "sidemarker" and you should find the info you need.

I too also have the new 7 series sidemarkers, But I never installed it. The shop did make a template out of it tho. But it's been a few months...i dunno if it's still there.

They run about $30 a piece. $60/pair

I got mine from my BMW Dealer down here for 45 for the pair including the wiring harness
The body shop put them in for 25 bucks

I bought the new 3 series clear sidemarkers. they are around 25-30 for the sidmarkers themselves and another 25-30 for the bulb connector/wiring.

Looks good if you have cleared corners, but I like the orange on my car so will probably put the Inspire style ones on.

I changed the bulbs to PIAA bulbs.

They make a sidemarker with orange

Do they use dual filiment bulbs -- meaning do they stay illuminated with the parking lights as well as blink for turning?
