i have a 01' TL...can anyone tell me what i can do to the "vents" in the corners of the front bumper?...they look like vents...but not...lol...an idea i had was to cut the piece out n meshing it...what did some of u guys do?...thx...
i just meshed them out. It's about a two hour job because you have to drill a hole in the vent to begin the cutting and make sure you don't scratch up the sides because those will show after you mesh out the grills. It looks clean after you are all done. In terms of how to hold the mesh on, using some sort of flexible glue/caulk works great, but you have to consider drying time! taping the grill to the bumper using duct tape worked just fine for me in combination with the glue. Good luck and have fun!
that looks awesome tek...yea...i think im gona place my fogs in the center part...n mesh the 2 corners...do u think i should just dremel out the piece...then make it nice n smooth...then put on the mesh?...kuz i think thatll b the easiest...suggestions on that?
I painted it black if you seen later pics...
This is what I've done for the corners... I first took a piece of cardboard, and began cutting and shaping it to make a nice tight fit, then after that was done, i traced to the mesh, and cut it out. The way I cut it, so it would have sharp edges.....if you look closely, and you run yer finger thru the inside of the corner, you will notice a little indentation....basically the sharp edge got trapped by the indent, so no glue, no tape, nothing.....and It held beautifully.....no scratches either, since mesh is flexible you can squeeze it to fit it in, then let go, and it will hold itself nicely.

you see how the backlite of your headunit, air conditioner, clock, etc are of BRIGHT white? that's what i was referring to. my backlite are much dimmer so i was wondering if you changed them to brighter LEDs or something.
