oh man joseph your TL is niceee!

two questions if you dont mind:
(1) How did you mount your license plate with the stock holes downwards?
(2) Did you clear and black-out the headlights yourself? If so, can you tell me what black paint you used and how it was done?

Thanks a bunch!

flip the bracket.
obviously reverse the license plate.
get longer bolts...you'll need longer bolts
then
if you look at the existing holes for the bracket nuts.
just drill new holes closer to the bracket frame.
so the bracket doesn't stick as far.

real easy.

and the headlights are cleared and blacked with the Ricks2k replacement lense.

cool, i'll try it out when i find time.

i found the diffuser replacement: http://www.ricks2k.com/products/aucruadiffusers.php but that's just the lense.
that $200 option is only for the clearing of headlights and not blacking out. so did you black them out yourselves? sorry to trouble you again.

thanks for all the suggestions

im acutally about done with my car. i do wish i would have gotten 18's, but im very satisfied with 17's with new rubber.

also, after headers get installed around christmas, the final frontier is the rear sway bar.

so.....almost $2,000 later, i have a quicker/sportier car with in order of mods

17x7" TSX Rims with locks and new tires
Updated Navi
35% tint
license plate brackets (black chrome)
02 cupholder
H&R OE springs
M5 lip
UR Pulley
Comptech icebox
NGK Irridium IX plugs
Megan Racing Headers - ordered
Rear Sway Bar - anticipated

Without any major engine work (3.5 upgrade) FI, or even at least headers, I wouldnt call what you are building a sleeper. Each of those mods has only mild gains, and wouldnt put you that far above the rest of the pack. To me it would just be a mildly modded TL, but thats just my opinion. Take it for what its worth.
what you mean by a 3.5 upgrade? ...ponderinnnggg
