I Was Wondering I Saw A In-dash 6cd changer from a 02 or 03 tl on Ebay but it did not have the code with it and on the description it said they have the vin# of the car it came out of and the invoice. it said just take that to the dealer and they will be able to get the code for you, IS THAT TRUE???? i dont wanna go to the dealership and have them think its stolen or anything??? please help me out its supposed to get here tomorrow and i wanna put it in thanks

 

i got a code for my 91 acura based on radio serial # from dealer

 

At the dealer you may have to prove that you own the car too.

 

thanks fellas i took it there with the invoice today and my id and i got the anti-theft code and i put it in right when i got home and boom now i know how i got it it had the er-1 or whatever do u think acura will still warranty that even since it is out of a 03 tl and mines a 99. THE FIRST THING I FINALLY DO TO MY CAR AND LOOK IT DOESNT FREAKIN WORK
