Anti rattle spring clip

Anti rattle spring clip

On the caliper, is this an anti-rattle clip?



I just replaced the calipers and the old ones didn't have it. I see in pictures here and there that some use it, some don't. Opinions?

The pic of the clip is the same one used on the 3G 5AT... The one on your caliper isn't the same as the one pictured from a 3G.

The brakes should have this installed... However, through time, spoke brushes, etc... It can be damaged or rot apart and fall out. If your brakes were pretty well worn before you changed them, chances are it lost it's "spring" and fell out.

Ya, I pulled that little picture off the web. The actual clip doesn't look exactly like that. I'll leave them installed. Oh, and sorry for the GIANT picture of the caliper. Thanks!

Replacement calipers come with the center anti rattle clip and new crush washers for the brake line attachment
