Ill be getting my TL-S soon and im still having alot of troube picking a color. I wanted a dark car, but then i decided that black would be bad in Arizona. Then i chose silver, now i see that the 03's come in anthracite metallic, and that is kick a$$ color, i was just wondering if it would be hot down there and if anybody has any pics of a 2002 anthracite TL w/ tinted windows? Thanks for the help.

If that color was a 2002 TLS option, I would've gotten it. It looks so hot! Here's a link to TLluver's TL pics http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=31829
I love my Anthracite, and it is a nice compromise between silver and black, especially due to the fact it does not look overly dirty even when it is. However I would have bought black if it had a black interior, but it only came in parchment for the 2002 TL.

Scratches and Swirlies??????
You Gents with the Anthracite paint, do you feel that it "hides" scratches and swirl marks as well as Silver finish, or is it as bad as the Black finish, or somewhere in between?
That's my main concern right now, is that I'm leaning towards Silver b/c it will hide the wear and tear better than black, but have no idea how the anthracite handles the dirt/scratches....
Thanks in advance!

The anthracite does not show the swirl marks like the black. I have taken my car through several car washes and no swirl marks. I think the metallic hides this, whereas the black is a pearl finish like on my Accord and it shows all the scratches.

Tint % ?
Hey thanks BLEXV6 for answering my question, I might have to wait on the 03 Anthracite now....that's what I wanted anyway back when I was looking at buying a car last fall, a TypeS Anthracite.
I have a question about your tint work, what percentage did you get? If you had to do it over again would you change the tint level?
Thanks,
Los

Also where do you go for service? Is there a dealership in Guelph?

Acura figure that Canadian owners won't be too picky about color combos... LOL.... dammit, I wanted WDP/Ebony......

Seirously, though.... Acura figure there are no need for different color combos as most ppl tend to stick with certain color combo(Silver/Black, White/Parch...etc)....
