another warranty question
another warranty question
The original owner acquired her 2002 TLS in July 2001. When is the 7 year extended transmission warranty going to be expired? My guess is July 2008, am I right?
So the transmission was replaced @35000 miles in April 2003 by the original owner. The car has now 58500 miles on it. I drive less than 10,000 mile/year. By the end of the 7th year the car will probably have 69000 miles, could well be just before aother failure. Biting my finger nails isn’t fun at all. Should I be wishing it to fail sooner? should I baby it more? Your thought?

Are you sure on the time limits?
I know they went up to 109 miles from 100
and you can argue that odometer reads fast by 5%
so you either have less miles or coverage to 114.5
