I spent the entire day installing/tuning my TL-S (production date 8/02) I installed the Zex system 75hp. I bolted up custom true dual exhaust (straight pipes w/ xover no cats to stock mufflers) I also did more polishing/porting to the intake, a mod to the tw sensor, and a few other little tricks. After the entire day, a 6pack,1 pack of smokes, 1 97 caddy sts northstar(friend), 99? camaro 350/auto(friend), and a 98-99 stang 5.0 stick(stranger). I blew my trans. Im extremely pissed off ;( Well atleast i smoked all 3 cars tonight. I did not have a problem keeping them in the rear view mirror well beyond 120mph. When it was time for me to slow down Ikicked her down all the way to second (roughly 40mph) in SS mode. I was in second with the 2 flashing i floored it and it wouldnt up shift to 3rd, i pulled it out of the gate and she was still in 2nd. I pulled over shut her down and restarted and still in second.. I had to limp home 10 miles or so... What was pretty cool, and what made my night was the kid in the stang, when my friends pulled over in the shoulder so did the kid in the stang. He jumped out of the car, and said what the hell is that thing... a TL? I said yeah a Type S and its tuned by me. He said holy S*** that thing moves the F*** out. He was so excited about my car i think he busted a nut...I popped the hood and the kid goes its STOCK!! I said well kinda...
So it looks like tomorrow i get to uninstall everything and drop it off at the dealer monday..... boohoo
I wish i had a 00 accord v6 tranny that baby was bullet proof... 22k on it with some serious mods and never had a problem...

Damn man, I don't know what to say. I think you are the first one who actually blew your tranny because of this kind of abuse. Nice kills by the way, but I would never do this to my car. Good luck with the dealer.
