Ok so yesterday my tranny was slipping as if the car was in neutral.. then it started to slam into gear.. it slams reverse and it slams 1>2.... i havent driven the car in about 24 hrs until today i took the car out and it was driving fine (shifts werent too smooth) but it wasn't slipping or slamming any of the gears real hard... as of now i have no indicator lights on or nothing.. i plan to bring it to the dealer tomorrow.. can dealer still diagnose the tranny with having no indicator lights on? just wondering cause i dont want to bring it to the dealer and have it show no symptoms and be SOL.. and lastly, my nearest dealer is like 15 miles away should i just get it towed? thanks guys

 

same thing happen to me last week my car drives fine then all of the sudden my car slips drove to dealer and they told me my tranny was bad.All my gauge lights look normal when my tranny fail. hope that helps

 

they will be able to tell if it happens when they drive it, just be sure to be specific when you tell them what is going on with it....how many miles do you have?
