Was able to make it to the dealership and was told Acura stepped up production of trannies and one would be shipped in two days. However, the dealership called me the following day and told they were wrong and the tranny is on backorder indefinitely. No explanation was given.

 

Sorry to see you joining the club. Call client services and b1tch (haha that word is censored) They will get you a tranny quicker.

Talk to your parts manager, my first rebuilt tranny took two weeks, this past one took one week to arrive (swap was completed on Monday). There is a much larger pool of rebuilt trannies in regional warehouses.

 

I just went through this, and I got my 1st tranny in 7 days and the second in 4 days, so these trannys must be readily available.
