I had tints already, but were going bad ( God knows where the previous owner went to get them ), but take them off and put new ones, $175. The thing is, money isn't a factor, its more of what you want. You have to go to a shop that gives you "lifetime" warranty and does quality job. You get what you pay for sometimes aka bubbles, weak tints, less labor involved, etc..

I paid $135 in GA and they did quite a good job plus it came with a lifetime warranty. They did all six windows and any percent tint I wanted. Just make sure there tint isn't cheap. Some folks will try to get you cheap tint. If it's any color beside charcoal or black I don't fool with it.

I got my tints done here in Chicago for $140, if I remember correctly. All 5 windows (except windshield are tinted to a "smoked" color. (35% I think) It looks good on since its blk/blk, and plus I didn't want them too dark anyways.

BTW....Has anyone actually gone to a tint shop or any of the sort to get their taillights tinted?? If so, how did it run? I'm thinking about it getting it done vs. the ebay tint. Sorry for hijacking your thread blackura.

300 bucks for premium tint for 5 windows.

Then 100 to redo the front two because of a ticket.

The same shop has done 3 cars in the family so far and they've done an excellent job every time. So even though they aren't exactly cheap, I keep going back to them because they are good. This is in Michigan, not AL.

get the taillight tint from rockblocker and then get a tint shop to apply them if you don't wanna do it yourself. the rockblocker tints are precut so they'll fit exactly rather than having someone at the shop cut and fit them.

Tints in Cali run for about 200 for the rear doors and rear windshield. they're usually pretty pricey here though compared to the rest of the country.

$350 for everything. decided to go with high end ceramic based tints and paid a steep price because the guy that installed them is a perfectionist... when you find a shop make sure to ask them how long they've been there...its better to go to an established place..just my

This is the hardest decision I will ever have to make. I really want to get 20% tint on my NBP but I dont want it to be so dark that Ill be hassled by the cops. I live in minnesota and the limit is 50%. I dont want to do 35% though because that looks like nothings done. So I either want to go with 30 or 20 maybe 25 if possible. I just dont want to get 30 and regret it wishing I had gone with 20 but then I dont want to get 20 regretting it when I get a ticket wishing I had gotten 30 so please help me out and give me your input!!!!!!!

Honestly look,if a cops pulls you over, put all the windows down. You have to decide what you want to do, because its your car. We really can't help you because its your city and state laws.. Get 20%, it will keep the car cool but you have the risk of a ticket, but don't drive like a maniac and you should be fine.. So I say 20%
