I plan on removing my sunroof visor/deflector/(whatever you call it), but there is a line of grime and grease on my roof where the visor is...and pieces of tape to tape the bracket to the roof...what should I use in order to remove this grime?

I like to have as much of the roof open as possible, and the Acura visor takes up half of the opening...but...Does anyone think it's better for me to leave it on? Thanx!!!!

 

Try, two things, first use some cleaner wax/polish, I use Mothers Reflections and it seems to work real well. If this doesnt work then dab a cloth in some gasoline and wipe the area vigorously and see if that works. The gasoline is a stronger solvent, and shoudl take care of it the wax/polish doesnt work. If both dont work, then maybe someone else has some ideas or, it might be better to leave it on.

With it off, I feel that the car's cabin becomes way too loud to bare.
