Problem: Plastic on plastic rubbing sound coming from the headliner just behind the drivers head. Sounds goes away when pressing up on the headliner.

Fix: Hop in the back seat, sit in the middle and look up. See that plastic plug? Unscrew it and take it down, lube it up with some white lithium grease and put it back up.

my drivers seat rattles so bad. asif showed me how he fixed his but my seat is a little different inside (99). that is the one rattle that really chaps my @ss

 

This sound in the headliner was enough to want to make me sell my car. I must have taken the headliner down about 20 times in the past month, I had my gf drive my car around while i sat in the back seat and took apart the interior - it was driving me nuts.

The only sound I had from my drivers seat was that of the belt buckle - which was fixed by spraying some lube on it.
