Ok, now back to my story.
I was driving on Rt 280 east today heading towards JC. I saw a new Diamante and a new Neon w/rims & tints. They were racing with each other so I decided to join the fun. BTW, my wife was in the car with me. I caught up to them doing about 80 mph. It just so happened that the 4-lane highway opened up for us. LET THE GAMES BEGIN! We were all even and we took off. Let's just say the Neon fell back (wayyyy back). So I downshifted into 3rd and took off like a bat out of hell. The Diamante was trying desperately to keep up with me. I went all the way up to about 120 mph and he still didn't gain on me. Then I had to bear right and he beared left. I slowed down to look at him but he didn't look at me. The funny thing was that I heard his tires screeching as he was trying to bear left. He almost lost control of his car. What an idiot! Thank god I got good tires and my TL is also lowered too. My wife gets a rush when I drive a little fast but she really doesn't want me to speed, go figure.

BTW, when is the next SA (speed anonymous) meeting???

My friend wants to test drive a camaro z28 auto. Our plan is for me to sit around in my tl at some stop sign. Then he comes out of the dealership and I instigate a race. Then the salesman will most likely encourage this as to demonstrate the power of the camaro. hahaha...ill get smoked, but oh well.

BTW, I just got back from Street's place and he finished up my Video Navi kit, it works wonderfully! Love it Love it!

Only downside is the RF modulator though, there is a loud hiss sound and the volume is not too high at all. But still. I ain't complaining

 

We can do something with that hiss.....glad you like it though.

Nice story, but what time of day were you traveling at 120 mph??? That is some wicked speed for Rt 280 DA

 

The TL rocks, but I don't win many races with mine, mostly because of my driving, not the car's performance.

I don't know what I would say to a cop if he tagged me for over 100.. "uhh sorry officer, I thought maybe the speed limit was 165 and the 1 just fell off the sign"

I lose a lot of races because I don't feel the need to wreck my car, or go to jail..

Blackshadow, where do I get a set of balls like yours? Can I get them from this site, and how much is the install..

Heres my story, not really a "race" but here goes. I got onto Rt 95 from the G.S. parkway last night and i was cruising at about 70 when this Diamante pulls next to me, looks at me and then pulls ahead. So i speed up to about 80 to catch up and he keeps speeding up! So heres the fun part, i shift down to 4th and gun it 80,85,90 hes trying to keep up, once i hit 100 he backs off and at 110 i lose sight of him. Guess you can say i won.
